HKU-Fudan IMBA Delegation Visits KBE for Research

Date:2025-06-30

Recently, the 2024 Class B delegation from the HKU-Fudan IMBA program visited KBE. KBE’s president, vice president of the Marketing Management Center, and vice president of the Enterprise Management Center accompanied the group, engaging in in-depth discussions on topics such as digital transformation, B2B marketing strategies, and global expansion.

The delegation toured KBE’s production workshops and R&D laboratories, conducted on-site observation of its intelligent production lines. Participants also held strategic group discussion on "Digitalization and Process Management," "B2B Marketing Strategies," and "Globalization and Integrated Strategy."

Faculty members accompanying the delegation provided targeted insights from their research perspectives. Professor Li Xu from Fudan’s Department of Management Science noted that the case of KBE demonstrates that traditional manufacturing enterprises must "walk on two legs"—deepening the "moat" of core technologies while remaining alert to new opportunities in the value chain. Assistant Professor Zou Deqiang from Fudan’s Department of Marketing emphasized that B2B marketing is fundamentally about building trust, and KBE should translate its "invisible advantages" into a value narrative that customers can perceive.

KBE’s relentless R&D investment, digitalization and process management, and product portfolio strategies were highly recognized and encouraged by the delegation. Moving forward, KBE will increase investments in R&D, digitalization, and intelligent production to continuously enhance product quality and efficiency, stay close to market demands, provide diversified products to customers, and strengthen its overall competitiveness.
